What a shared password can't give you
A shared password means you can't tell people apart or take one person's access away. A team fixes both.
Your own sign-in
Each colleague sets their own password. Nobody shares a login, and the owner's password stays with the owner.
The same work
Everyone sees the same tests, candidates, access codes and results, so a drive does not depend on one person's laptop.
Private invitations
An invitation is a private link sent to that person's email. It works once and expires after seven days.
Owner control
Only the account owner can invite or remove people. Removing someone ends their access on their very next action.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can use one RootPro account?
The Free plan includes two people, counting the owner. Any pass or Pro includes up to ten. If you need more, write to [email protected].
Does each person need to pay?
No. There is no charge per person. Everyone on the team works under the account's plan.
What can a team member do?
Team members work with the same tests, candidates and results as the owner, so invite only people who should see candidate data. Only the owner can invite or remove people, and the free proctored test is for the owner alone.
Can colleagues open separate Free accounts instead?
The Free plan is one allowance per organisation. For accounts created from 6 November 2026, and every Free account from 1 December 2026, the monthly allowance is shared by all Free accounts of the same organisation. Colleagues should join one account as team members.
What happens when I remove someone?
Their access ends on their very next action, and they can no longer sign in. The tests and results stay in your account.
My colleague already has a RootPro account. Can they join?
An email that already has its own RootPro account cannot be invited. Write to [email protected] and we will help bring your work together.
I am signing up and my team may already use RootPro. What should I do?
Sign-up tells you when your team may already have an account, and you can ask to join it. The owner decides, and we do not show you who the owner is.
Can someone belong to two teams?
No. One email belongs to one team.
Who is the owner of a team?
The person who created the account. If that should be someone else, the owner can hand the account to any colleague who has joined. They stay on the team, and tests, candidates and payments stay where they are.
What if the owner has left our organisation?
Write to [email protected]. Once your organisation confirms it, we make a colleague on your team the owner, and both people are told by email.
What happens to my team when a pass ends?
Everyone keeps working for seven days. After that one colleague you choose stays on the Free plan and the others pause. Nothing is deleted, and any pass or Pro brings everyone back at once. Nobody is paused while candidates are sitting.
