Frequently asked questions
Is the proctored test really free?
Yes. Every new organisation gets one fully proctored sitting with no card and no plan. It includes the photo-ID match, webcam photos, full recording, microphone monitoring and AI review, and the same report you would get for a candidate.
Who can sit the free test?
Only the person who registered. The test works for the email and mobile number on the account, and these cannot be changed for the trial. The email is confirmed with a one-time code.
Can I use the free sitting for a real candidate?
No. It is a short sample paper for you to experience. To proctor your candidates you need a Day pass, a Weekend pass, a Month pass or Pro. Day passes start at ₹2,999 plus a 2% platform fee for up to 500 candidates.
Can I take it twice?
No. It is one sitting per organisation, email and mobile number, so start when you have ten quiet minutes.
What do I need?
A laptop or desktop with Chrome or Edge, a webcam, a microphone and a photo ID.
Does proctoring catch everything?
No system catches everything. RootPro layers its checks and gives you the evidence, and a person makes the final decision. The exam integrity page explains what browser proctoring cannot detect.
Can my colleagues use RootPro with me?
Yes. Invite them from the Team page: everyone shares the same tests, candidates and results, each with their own sign-in. The Free plan includes two people, and any pass or Pro up to ten. The free test itself is only for the person who registered.
How long is my report available?
Your report link works for 30 days, and recordings are deleted after that.
